  • Increased flexibility, stamina, strength, muscle tone, and range of motion in the joints

  • Detoxification and more efficient metabolism
  • Overall well-being and ease in daily life.

We invite you to a weekend of gentle yoga and meditation suitable for beginners, but open to all, creative visualization, journaling, deep progressive relaxation (yoga nidra), conscious eating, and mindful walks in nature.

Come relax, refresh, and rejuvenate. Consider bringing a friend or family member—supporting each other when you return home can make a world of difference.

Note Bring a journal, appropriate outerwear, and sneakers. Saturday evening will be free for personal nurturing.

Our intention for this workshop...

The idea of this workshop was created over a cup
of tea.  I was at an advanced yoga teachers training at Kripalu in Massachusetts when I sat down with a beautiful, smiling woman in the lounge and introduced myself.  Vandita and I just got more and more excited as we talked.

We talked about who we knew in the yoga community and how we got to where we are today.  We talked about the challenge of balance in this fast-paced world. We talked about this lovely beach community and how I came to live and work here.

Out of that serendipitous encounter, I decided I wanted to begin an annual yoga retreat in Santa Rosa Beach.  A workshop that welcomes people from near and far to practice together and supports yoga on and off the mat.  I also want to take the mystery out of yoga and meditation and make it accessible to all levels of ability.

Then, I met Laurie Beck, owner of Pilates by the Sea in Santa Rosa Beach and a Kripalu afficiando, too.  We discovered that we both had conquered a health challenge that served as a catalyst for change and gratitude in our lives.  So part of the proceeds of this workshop will be donated to the Sacred Heart Cancer Center being created here in Miramar Beach, Florida.

Please accept our invitation to be proactive about your own health an
d make the commitment to your well-being.  You might also give the gift of the workshop to someone you love as a present.

Would you join us in taking this annual workshop from an idea to a personal success for yourself and for the community?

We'll look forward to seeing you there!

With love and laughter in our hearts,

Pat Carlyle, Laurie Beck and Vandita Kate
Marchesiello.
